Bear 2017 Cruzer G2 RTH Compound Bow
This bow will suit absolutely anyone! RTH kit Included
New for 2017, the Bear Cruzer G2 picks up where the original Cruzer left off, adding a ton of new features to improve upon an already impressive bow.
To put it simply; 5-70lbs of weight adjustment, 12-30 inches of length adjustment, shooting specs to rival top end bows and a full Trophy Ridge kit thrown in the mix. This bow is a must have for any beginner to intermediate archer. If you're new to archery, chances are you're not sure what bow settings you need. The Cruzer G2 will allow you to start off small, and crank it up to the highest settings when you're ready. For an experienced archer, this bow will adapt to you! On top of this, when you're ready to either upgrade or retire, you'll be able to hand this down to your kids or a friend without worrying if it will suit them or not.
Bear Archery has raised the bar with the Cruzer G2, never before has an adjustable bow been so easy to tune and shoot well with. Equipped with the new MV1 cam, the Cruzer G2 will launch arrows downrange with an IBO speed rating of 315fps, which means even at the lower draw settings it's going to keep hammering away and in turn give you improved accuracy at longer ranges, or more penetration with a hunting arrow. Bear knows it's not all about speed though; the draw cycle is one of the smoothest we've felt on a dual cam system with a gracious valley and solid back wall to boot. Make sure you try this iconic bow at Apex Hunting!
The Bear Cruzer G2 weighs in at 3lbs, and is accompanied by a 30 inch axle to axle length and 6.5 inch brace height; incredibly forgiving for a short draw archer and very comfortable for the largest size shooter.
On top of the cranked up specs this year, Bear Archery has decked the Cruzer G2 out with equipment you would normally expect to see on a higher priced bow;
- Endurafiber Quad Limbs - compressed compound bow limbs that store lethal, controlled power and reduce overall shock during the shot.
- SonicStop String Suppressor - brings the shoot string to a solid stop, increasing the forgiveness and stability of the bow.
- 2017 Advanced Grip - Eliminates hand torque with correct form, offering easy accuracy.
Let's not forget the Trophy Ridge kit we mentioned earlier. Part of starting out in compound bow archery is learning about what you need to put on the bow, but Bear has done all the dirty work for you and provided top shelf accessories with the bow. The Cruzer G2 includes the following;
- Trophy Ridge Joker Sight - 4 fiber optic pins with an additional LED, ultra adjustable.
- Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit Arrow Rest - full containment brush that holds your arrow steady on draw and release.
- Trophy Ridge Dart Stabilizer - provides balance at full draw and acts as a lightning rod for shock on the shot, keeping your hand vibration free.
- Trophy Ridge 5 Spot quiver - holds your arrows firmly on the bow, perfect for a hunter on the go.
- Wrist Sling
- Peep Sight
What else do you need to put on the bow? Well, nothing. The RTH kit ensures that you have all of the accessories necessary to get started. All you have to worry about, is getting a few more bits so that you can actually shoot it. The most obvious would be arrows, as you cannot shoot a bow without them (dry firing will do serious damage and void warranty), you'll also want to get a release aid since this is a short and modern compound bow, if you finger shoot you may cause harm to yourself and/or the bow. Apex also recommends a bow case to store your equipment in, broadheads if you are into hunting and a foam target if shooting at home.
Sometimes the thrill of the hunt is adapting to your ever-changing environment. The Bear Cruzer G2 is the definition of versatility in a compound bow, allowing anyone to do target archery, indoor, 3D archery and of course bow hunting.
Child to Adult, Beginner to Legend, make sure you get started the right way.
