The Hoyt Alpha AX-90 is built for serious bowhunters who want maximum speed at true hunting arrow weights. With reinforced limb weights, titanium limb bolts and strengthened limb pocket dowels, it’s designed to safely manage the extreme energy of a 90 lb setup.

This is not a beginner or mid-weight bow. It’s made for experienced archers who can confidently draw and shoot between 80–90 lbs. If you shoot more comfortably below 80 lbs, you’ll get better control and consistency from the Alpha AX-3, which offers a wider range of limb weight options.
