Bohning Ferr-L-Tite Cool Flex is a flexible hot melt glue for fitting points, inserts, outserts and pin bushings to your arrows. It's a must for carbon shafts, but also works well on aluminium and fibreglass.
Cool Flex stays flexible once it sets, so the bond won't crack after repeated target impacts, even when you shoot the same arrows week after week. You only heat the glue stick with a flame, and it's fully set in about 5 minutes once it cools to room temperature. To adjust, replace or remove a component, just use hot water.
One 12g stick bonds up to 144 inserts, and it has no expiry date, so a single stick lasts a long time on the bench. Made at Bohning's factory in Lake City, Michigan, USA.
What We Like
You never need to put a flame to the shaft. You melt the glue, not the arrow, and use hot water for any adjustments, so your carbon stays protected. The flexible bond also holds up in heavy target sessions.
